How do I add a pay code?

Follow step-by-step instructions for adding a pay code.

Find the employee from the list and click on their name – use the payroll tab to select pay codes

This will open the pay code list showing all active codes assigned. First, check under the show inactive button to see if that code was previously assigned and inactivated. If so, after clicking this “show inactive” it will bring the inactive codes in. Click on pay code name and uncheck the inactive box. Update pay rate if needed.

If the code needs to be added use the ADD PAYCODE button then choose from the company list and assign the missing code.

Follow prompts to update the rate of pay if pertinent to the pay code type.
